Has anyone used this as a seller? Its automatic when listing cards over a certain amount. I just don't want to get screwed by doing it wrong.

Super easy. Ebay does all the work for you. You will ship to authenticator and the authenticator does final shipment.

There is not. The shipping label you print will have the information needed to identify the transaction by the authenticator.

Thank you for this thread, I'm about to do my first one also.
The concense on Reddit seems to be; shipping via FedEx is the way to go for this type of sale. Just wanted to see if anyone has any thoughts on this.
Thanks, Frank

I have done postal service ground advantage or priority without issue. Thankfully, the ungraded authenticator is right across the state.

As a buyer it sucks, I can say that much. Have to pay twice for shipping for a service you cannot opt out of. Boo

I can understand the frustration with shipping charges.
However I think making it as easy as possible for sellers to list gets more desirable cards in circulation. The big sellers will list no matter what. People like myself who sell very little now feel comfortable offering higher end cards.

I get that part, but I pay taxes on the shipping charges, thanks CT, so every little bit...

I bought a 1962 Topps Bob Gibson card 2 months? ago. I think the eBay Authenticity Guarantee must have just been started. At least I hadn’t heard anything about it. The dealer offered free shipping for total purchases over $200. I didn’t pay any shipping. The card probably was a few days later arriving than if it hadn’t been part of this process. Wasn’t a big deal to me.
The card arrived in a fancy box in a card saver inside a sealed team bag. I was amused, but also slightly impressed.
Not really something that would encourage me to purchase more high end vintage cards off eBay. 99% of my vintage purchases are from dealers I know at local card shows. I got this one because living in St. Louis means that Gibson cards are sold for around double book prices.
