Hey there,

I just got back (relatively it has taken me a long time to compose this post.) from a trip to my local Target. I needed to get juice that I had failed to get yesterday when I did my grocery shopping. So even though it might have been quicker and more convient to go to 7-11 or one of many other stores within a 3 or 4 mile radius of me that sell juice, I decided to go to Target (4-5 miles) so I could pick up some crack er trading cards. I hadn't done that in a while. Long story short I forgot there was a purchase limit at some Targets on sports cards. What the exact limit is I don't recall. So I had to leave two packs of 2021 Contenders Football at the self checkout pre-scan shelf.

Here is what I was able to purchase before I broke the card limit:

One 2022 Topps Heritage Baseball: 17 pack box 156 cards total - includes 3 bonus Red Bordered base cards "Look for Real One Autographs* and Relics!"

One 2022 Topps Heritage Baseball: 7 (8) pack blaster 72 cards total - "Look for Real One Autographs* abd Relics!"

Two 2021 Topps Big League Baseball: 36 card hanging "fat" packs includes 3 Orange parallel cards

One 2021 Panini Contenders Football 22 card haning pack Look for "Retail Exclusive" Emerald paralellels

I don't know when I'll bust them. I'd like to do a video or videos, its been ages since I've done that. I still have about 3 unposted box/pack break videos I want to upload to youtube. Long story I won't go into.

Oh to make matters worse as I left the store the security theft thing goes off as it does every so often. I backed up looking around to any nearby store employees and not a single one had even looked my way. All the stuff in my 2 store bought plastic bags had been scanned. So I shugged it off and left. what else do you do? The second time I went by the security sensor it did not go off. Go figure.

I had that happen to me at Target before.  Sometimes the security guard let me go, without be having me go bavk to the cashier.

Back when Ammo was hard to get...

Was doing Fund Raising for the DAV (Disabled American Veterans)...

Veterans would stop by the table (outside the store exit, Walmart) and

complain, ask if one of us would go in and grab the limit for a person for them....

Would get some good donations for helping them get more....

If you know someone already shopping in the store it would work to get you more

Card Packets or even Baby Formula if limited in the store you are shopping in....

My Target listed a limit of five (5) items, covering everything on the cards shelves. So, baseball, hockey, MTG, Pokemon, etc. To be honest, I was thankful for the obvious limit, since it steered me towards grabbing two Hoops jumbos and a Heritage hanger with possible Target exclusive candy lids, instead of grabbing the above AND a bunch of UD hockey packs.

The wallet remains heavier, which pleases the household.

I havent had this issue at Walgreens or Walmart. No Target in my area.
