Hey everyone, I've recently got back into collecting with my son and in doing so, we were just gifted A LOT of old school cards that I need help with. Not exactly sure if what we have is as rare as we think. Is there a way to post pics of what I have or do I have to search the site and "add" each one individually? Thank you!

Your best bet would be to add the ones you can find and then post the rest in the mystery card identification section. If you go to the collection summary page, which is available on pages for sets, people or teams, you can add a whole bunch at one time. Welcome to the Database! This is the best card community you could find and somebody will surely be able to answer any questions you may have. Welcome back to the hobby as well!

Either way would work really. You could probably post a few pics of cards from different sets to get you started. Once you get orientated it'll help you better find where certain cards are at. What is great about this site is that members work digigently to get as many quality scans posted here. The goal is to document as much as can be done to aid others and serve as a comprehensice database.

The only issue I'm having is figuring out HOW to post pics. I've read of scanning them in but I'm using my cell phone...could that be an issue?

Scanning would be if you were trying to add the image permanently to the database. You can take a pic with a camera and post it to the Mystery forum like Billy suggested. A lot of members use camera pics when trying to ID something.
