I hit a milestone in my Boston Red Sox collection last night adding card 46,000 to my collection. I have to thank Brian Fleisher from Beckett as he sent me an unexpected card a 2017 Gypsy Queen Rafel Devers auto! This card when I added it to my list rolled my counter over to 46,000.
Since Baseball and stats go together here are some stats from my collection.
Total card 46,000 out of a Beckett recognized 149,120 putting me at having 30.85% of all Red Sox card.
Total rookies - 1442 out of 1527 = 94.43%
Total Memorabilia - 2220 out of 28851 = 7.69%
Total Autographs - 1093 out of 25126 = 4.35%
Total Serial Number - 9127 out of 100,934 = 9.04% (there are really over 100,000 serial numbered Red Sox cards? 33,000 of them one of one!? I won't be collecting those....)
Total non serial numbered - 36,873 out of 48,196 = 76.5%!
In addition I have 1579 IP/TTM Red Sox autos not included in those numbers.
Thanks to all who helped me hit this milestone and now back to finding cad 46,001!
Scott

Very impressive collection - congratulations on the milestone! I assume you live in that area? I'll check to see if I can contribute later tonight.

As a fellow Red Sox fan I'm blown away by your milestone - it's amazing! I don't have that many total cards in my entire collection, let alone of one team. Congrats on an incredible acomplishment!

Absolutely phenomenal collection. I have to assume you don't collect ANYTHING else but BoSox.
Congratulations on that milestone. I look forward to you posting when you hit 50,000. :)

Congratulations! And I love the stats. I’m leaning more and more towards being solely a Cubs collector for anything prior to 1965. It just means more when it’s your team.

Thanks guys,
This is what happens after 40 years of collecting and years of slowly narrowing my focus. I still collect sets, but have not bought packs other than a blaster or two at target in years. 50,000 is still 2-3 years away, but with the amount of current cards being produced, it should be no problem to make it.
