Does anybody know how to submit a better pic than the one that's showing on site? I have seen this a couple of time's where my card is way better than the one showing.

Send in a request to have old one removed and then when it has been removed by Admin you can replace. I can not recall where you do that though. Possibly an IR but I think they changed it.

I believe if you have the correct permissions, you are able to replace the image yourself

When you are dealing with modern day card images that were poorly cropped or are blurry, then yes go ahead and have the image removed. The initial contributor willlose the points he gained for submitting the original image(s). But if you are referrring to the older cards, 1970s or older, where there are fewer people who have the cards to scan and upload, then having the image removed and penalizing the original contributor is not right. Many of those images, though the card may have been in Fr to Gd condition only, were the only ones available at the time. To penalize those who uploaded an image because an image, though of a card in Fr condition only, was better than no image at all.
I am not sure what permission level you need to replace images by turning editting on but it is worth working towards that if you are looking to "correct" someone else's work.

It doesn't seem right that the original submitter should be penalized just because a better example is found/uploaded later. Just my two cents.

If an image is:
- Photographed
- Low Resolution
- Incomplete
- Watermarked (i.e., from another source)
- In the wrong place
The image(s) can be removed completely (and the original submitter will lose the 1-3 points)
If an image just isn't all that great, your only recourse is to replace it. I have had this conversation with Admin on cards that were very washed out - even to the point where you couldn't read the text on the card, but it was deemed "ok enough" and if I wanted, I could replace, but they would not be removed. That stance has no changed, and this is why ALL image removal still has to have final approval by Admin.

How many images [accepted] do you need to get Level 7? I must be close?

Bob, Level 7 permission has nothing to do with submitted images. Check the Permissions link at the bottom of any page to see what you need to do to advance.
