Headed to get another 40K cards at lunch..   70s and 80s Ill let yall know how good this $100.00 is...

I am still going through the last 63K but cant let this one get by me "Cardboard Addiction" 

Sounds like it could be a nice buy if they are in good shape.

What are your collecting goals? Accumulation? I ask only because most of us reach a point where we say what do I really want to collect? I can't collect it all.

I have a few PC's Like Jacksonville Jaguar cards, HOFers in baseball..  learning the hobby still but I like having cards that others want and making trades (only completed one so far) but comradery is a big thing for me

I bought several large lots of cards earlier this year, probably totalling 750,000 cards or more, and I quickly fell out of favor with the wife and family once they saw how many I had in the basement..I sorted out all of the baseball cards within the lots (with the help of our youngest daughter) and it was an overwhelming task which took all the fun out of collecting..

I then got an out of state job offer and it was a scramble to sell what I had left ( and luckily sold most of them) before we had to move..

So as someone who has been there, don't let the addition become too strong, enjoy the hobby!

Family support is important.

And I bet we all could have just as much fun in the hobby if we spent half the budget we do. 

For me,  the sorting, updating databases,  trading,  are the most enjoyable parts of the hobby for me., no matter how much money I spent on the stack of cards I am working on
