Mine isn't about a particular card, but rather a box of cards. Growing up, I had 3 older brothers who dabbled in collecting. The youngest of them was 6 years older than me. When I was 9, in 1968 I hadn't started collecting, but they had accumulated a box of cards from the 50's and 60's. That box was always facinating to me to look through. It seemed to sit forever on the side of the steps to the basement. In 1969 I began collecting, and the older brothers were done. I looked all over for that box, which my brothers said my mother must have tossed out, but never found it. She denies tossing them, but the box and those cards which I have only faint memories of was never to be seen again.
