General Forum

Is there a reason, that I can share photos of cards, off of my computer, to upload them into the checklists. But I cannot do the same for the forums. I need a URL to upload to the forums. I'm not exactly computer savvy, so it's very possible that it's me, very possible!

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

That's just the way the forum is set up. Never been a problem for me because I have my own website. You can use Facebook or Twitter to host if you have either of them...they seem to have unlimited storage. On Facebook you can also choose to display something only for yourself as well. 

It took me a while to figure out the 'URL Rule' for forums.  I have been using Google Photos to post pictures to forums.  I created a shared folder for pictures of my cards that I post here. It also has unlimited storage.

everytime I put a url in copied from facebook all I get is a red x

Don't use the URL. Right click on the picture, click copy, then come to the forum and paste it in- I use Control+V but you should be able to right click and paste as well. 

The method Billy described is the easiest.  But, if you want to use the URL you have to paste it into the hyperlink box.  In the Reply window, click on the Link icon (looks like a chainlink). Then paste the URL in the URL box.

First, thank you to all who have replied and offered their help.

Second, Billy when you copy it into the Forum Post, should you see the picture, or do you just see the Image Address. I only see the Image Address, and not sure if I'm doing this correctly.

No, right click on the picture itself and just copy that, do not click on properties or the address bar. 

Finally got it figured out.
