how to identify variation cards

I just opened a box of 2018 Diamond Kings cards and see there are photo variations on many cards. How can you tell a variation card when you get one? Are there special marks on the cards to identify them?

I don't know if Panini does the same thing as Topps with the different numbers in the copyright line. The website cardboardconnection.com my the go-to site for me for galleries of variations. https://www.cardboardconnection.com/2018-panini-diamond-kings-baseball-variations

2018 Diamond kings base cards have a red back while the name and photo variations have a back back.

I do what olerud363 suggested and take a look at Cardboard Connection. I don't have the patience or the focus to check the card codes.
