Upper Deck football, early 90's. I haven't looked up the year or card number yet... becuse the back is missing! It's not just a blank back, the stock is thin like standard paper. The front has the proper feel of the standard card. The back is not rough like if someone tired to peel it. Holding it up to a light, you can see through it. The card still has sharp corners with no wrinkles. A little warping of the card I'm guessing because of the thinness of the paper. I'll try to scan it with extra light to show what I mean.

I'm not familiar with the boxes of that time, but it may have been cut from a box. It may also be a card that missed having the back put on it- a very rare error.

From what I remember, the inside of the box that the cards came in was smooth. The boxes were a thicker stock than this card.

Seems like the card missed the adhesive phase, there is proabably an entire sheet all with missing backs.

Definitely interesting! The boxes back then WERE thicker stock than the cards were. I remember pulling several UD cards in the early 90's that weren't printed on the back, but they were still the same stock as regular cards and not see-through. I look forward to any info that comes up about this specific card.
