Thanks to all that worked so hard on the '87 and '91 sets.
In the 1st 3yrs of production '81-'83, Donruss made some memorable errors. I believe we are right on with IDing most errors, at least those allowable.
Do we know about ERRs/VARs in sets '84-'86, that need attention?
I don't see any changes in '88 or '89 or '90 on site BUT there are similar variations to those found in '91. Are we going to tackle those sets in the near future? I believe we are in the process of working on '88.
Then, Do we know anything about sets in '92 and beyond? Any variations found there?

Afaik, 92 was the last year of the Inc/Inc. VARs, no border differences in that one.

I don't see anything on site for the '92 INC/INC. variations. Is that set going to be done?

For the record, three Donruss sets (87, 88, and 91) have had major additions on TCDB in the last few months. 89 and 90 are on my radar. I knew nothing about the 92s.
I don't remember there being any big time differences in the the 84-86 period. There were the 2 Rated Rookies in 84 that had no number until the factory sets (including Ron Darling), and then there were 2 ERR cards in 85 that were only fixed in the FSs (the Tom Seaver where Floyd Bannister was pictured and the Terry Pendleton where they had Jeff on the front). I don't recall anything like that in 86. (This is all off the top of my head.)

84 also had the Diamond Kings ERR where the backs had either Perez-Steel (pack issue I believe) and Perez-Steeles (FS I believe). 86 had a couple, but nothing major. It's that darn 87-91 run where all the brands had major issues.

So, in review;
'88 Was entered differently. as DONRUSS SET and DONRUSS FACTORY SET. No a,b,c variations.
That brings us to '89 and '90............Not sure about the variations set wide for '89? BUT '90 is a doozie with different borders, INC/INC. variations not to mention the numerous other ERRs/VARs. This should be a fun set to track down.

Wow, Once done with '91, I can start sorting '89. Think somebody can get them listed?

I have alot of '89s, and will take some time. Should I expect 4 versions as mentioned, and follow that plan? By the time I'm done sorting, somebody could have started, if not - I'm game, and maybe a few collaborators will jump in. lol.
