After a battle with melanoma, Gregory Booker passed away on Saturday night (3/30/19).

He was a local guy and I know quite a bit about him. He graduated from a local high school just before I was born, but I still found out about him later in my life. He was a pitcher for many years in the MLB and a pitching coach for many years after that. One of my first IP AU's was of him through my sister when she met him in the early 2000's. I still have the postcard that he signed and it's in a frame with other AU'd postcards/photos. I'll have to put it back on the wall now (only pulled down for a painting project). I'll certainly have to scan it to add to this thread now! Another sad loss in the sports world and I just wanted to post a small memoriam to Greg.
