I picked up this set at the Star Wars Celebration convention in Chicago last week. It’s a 310-card set, which includes the Journey to The Force Awakens set, as well as Series 1 & 2 of The Force Awakens. Each card has a “Complete Set” foil stamp on the front. It’s currently listed on the database as a parallel to The Force Awakens Limited Set. Because it is sold separately from the Limited and is basically a set upon itself, shouldn’t it be listed seperate from the Limited Set?

If it's the same checklist with the only difference being the stamp then probably not. I ooked at the sets in question and that seems to be the case, unless I missed something. It sounds similar what Topps does for baseball. They sell/sold factory sets in different varieties to include All-Star Edition and limited Edition. The only difference between the base set and those 2 were the aforementioned stamps. They are listed as parallels. 1992 Upper Deck baseball had their factory set cards with a gold hologram instead of the pack issue silver. Same thing, parallel set.

The various Glossy, Tiffany, and Member's Only sets that were issued as factory sets only are listed as parallels. (If they had been issued in packs separately, only then would they be considered a separate release.)

It sounds like this one is different from the baseball sets. The Journey set is a entirely different set using the 1977 design, while the sets for the new movie is a wholly different design. 

I think the question now is, what are the card numbers? Did they renumber them to be one large set? If they did not, we are going to have a set issued only as a factory set broken up into two different sets on here. 

I also seem to recall this set being listed in Previews, and that it had exclusive inserts, I believe of the autograph variety, and that it sold originally for about $250.
