Where do I access this change log I am hearing about? I want to daily to see what changes/variations that have been done. I find myself trading for cards I already have due to them defaulting to card a when I may have a b or so on and so on. Especially when it came to the recent 91 donruss variations. And i just came across one in my 91 fleer as well. l have thousands of sets and going to every set every day to see if any changes just is not feasible for me. So if any quick link may be in here I have not found it yet. Any help? Also in the aspect of collecting variations, is there a way that just when you think your done with a complete set that if any variations are added that that variation can be automatically added to your want list. I know I may be asking alot but I'm curious.

Great, thanks. I just didn't scroll down far enough. As I look into it however. Maybe a feature could be made to divide out everything into catagory? Like hitting the header at the top we could search for just "set edited" or "card added" etc. Instead of scrolling through the countless pages?

Additionally if you are on any sets Overview page it is in the links under the example picture, and will just give you the changes made to that set. If you are on a set or insert set checklist page it can be found in the links on the left hand side of the page and will give you the changes for that set or insert set.

Yeah, I seen it on the sets page. Just didn't want to bounce from set to set to set. When a change is made, and I know it's alot of people here but need to be messaged that a change has been made. Somehow someway. Thanks

As you say, alot of people. It is just not physically pheasible to message (especially since the "Variation Craze" is mostly contained to the mass produced era) hundreds or even thousands of members. If the change was made as a result of an IR when the IR is fixed and processed the submitter will get a message. Perhaps their is a way to mass message remotely using the data in the database, but even that might be troublesome. Last night I fixed a bunch of 1988 Topps Football Stickers card numbers, notes, notes2, and added VARs from IRs. The quickest way I found was to copy some of the info from the origianal card into the new card, and then when the new one was created add the multiple teams, notes, and note2 by hoping back and forth between the cards as they would be right next to each other on the checklist. If the system mass messaged each time a bit of info is changed everybody's mailboxes would fill up rather quickly. My suggestion would be to make a suggestion in the New Feature area and members could vote ad ADMIN tweak ideas.

What specific types of changes are you actually looking to find in the change log?

A quick way to see if any variations was added to any sets that I may have. Cards get defaulted to card a when I may in fact have a card a or maybe a b or maybe both..I just looking for an easy way I can make daily checks. The change log is great but if we could split that into certain categories. As I know it is but everything is dragged down by all changes. If the changes was categorized under a different header for each type of change or a quick link that would bring what changes you are looking for to the top of the page or pages depending on the amount of changes made..sorry I jumbled around here and there. I guess it's hard for me to explain

If *I* work on a major variation addition where the sets are majorly changed, I request Admin to sent out a mass e-mail (as Admin is the only one who can easily do that).
If I add a variation of a single card, depending on the amount of members with that single card in their collection, I may ask Admin for the mass e-mail, or if the list is a managable amount, I'll send out the messages myself (as several members can attest to).
I wouldn't get too caught up in this. There is always much discussion in the forums, and then there will certainly be an e-mail either by me or by Admin. It seems no one else (so far) has the intestinal fortitude to attempt a massive add, so it'll either be Admin or me.
