Dan I would be less upset if Shawn at least contacted me.
And thanks all for your input, at least the trades in queston were smallish ones. We live we learn and we know in the future who not to trade with.

Trades in the last 6-9 months have been bad in my opinion..I've seen a variety of issues (not going into detail here)...
I've also seen issues with purchases..I've worked on several large purchases for people only for the other party to go silent..

There have been instances where the guy has had no Internet connection, and although a quick note would be ideal, not everyone has their trades at the front of their minds.
Again, I'm not defending either member here. Both have track records that are certainly less than stellar without any good reasons. But please also take into consideration the members who we know are conscientious about their trading, and have had instances where they went months without logging in. Sometimes life gets in the way of hobbies. If and when you leave feedback, please be factual. No one can successfully dispute facts.

Is it possible to retract negative feedback? This example made me wonder: If I made a trade and got no response and left negative feedback but then the other party did come back and make amends and I felt I should have not left negative feedback can I go back and retract it? Sorry for sidetracking the original post.

I think you can only amend feedback within 24 hours of initially leaving it.

What is really sad is I think I just saw on the recently collected newest activity that this one trader justadded more cards to his want list but didn't bother to address this here or with the original poster. I don't get that. Be responsible. Reach out to your trade partner or come in here and defend your name.

I proposed a trade with JD but I never sent the cards until I received his first. I told him that up front and he said that was okay. At least two months went by and not a word. I’m glad I didn’t send first. I won’t be trading with him again until he gets a lot of consistent positive feedback.

I have defended Shawn many times on TCDB. He's not a bad guy, he means well. He sends me cards I didn't even ask for. It's not for me to say here, circumstances go beyond the usual. Card Collecting is important to him. I really don't want to say anymore, just give him a little space. ~BOB~

Bob, This trade is from April and he has not responded to any of my messages since then. I don't mind being understanding but at least need to know what the issues are
