I don't save the wrappers, but of course looking back now I wish I had saved some of the wax wrappers from my early days of collecting, just for the nostalgic factor.
I usually save the ad cards and such from packs, but I usually just use them as fillers in my card boxes. As I've been cataloguing my collection here and seeing that they are listed in the database, though, it makes me set them aside or add them to by tradelist.

A modified yes. I used to keep every single one, but space issues and nasty comments from the wife made me cry mercy. Now I try to just keep one wrapper for each set. I take the best one from the packs I open and save it. I'll try to save one of each type (regular pack, jumbo pack, etc.). As for the boxes, I now cut them up and use them to decorate the 800 ct, 660 ct, 500 ct, 400 ct, etc. white cardboard box I put the set in. I used to keep all of them, but this also helped get space, allow me the peace of mind to know I still have a piece of them, and makes for much nicer looking cardboard boxes than just writing on them.
I thought I would be sad to have gotten rid of them, but to be honest, I feel like a weight was lifted.

I have a lot of hockey wrappers, but figured doing baseball also would get to be overwhelming. Not sure why I ever started doing it, but it is neat to see all the different designs. Card design is one of my favorite parts of this hobby, so I guess the wrappers appealed to me at that time.

Thanks for all the responses. I also keep my boxes.
I haven't saved all my wrappers from packs ive opened, which I now regret. So I'm curious if anyone would be interested in trading wrappers, so I can get back the ones I threw out ? I only collect NASCAR so unfortunately I'm sure that will greatly reduce the # of possible traders. Maybe somebody out there might just want to free up some space. I'll mail you a self addressed postage paid envelope.
Anyone interested just msg me.

I also really enjoy the wrappers, so I do save them (well, them, as well as the cards within as I collected the unopened packs), including variations if the front picture is different, or hobby versus retail, or different send away ads as there were in the early 90s.

Wrappers (and unopened packs) I have collected off and on. I still have some that I treasure and there are some I had gotten rid of ages ago that I wish I still have.
BTW I have a surpluse of Topps "Welcome Back Kotter" wrappers from an old Ebay purchase of 25 of them.

Do you have a list of what you are looking for? I know I have some, and it sounds like Billy has a lot. I also know a couple other racing collectors that have kept wrappers over the years who might be able to help you out.
