If you look below in the new galleries section you can see a completed 2008 DAV Texas Rangers set that is....one card. We have separate sets listed for several, but not all, teams, all with checklists (some no doubt incomplete). This is a set of at least 144 cards. One set. I don't propose we delete these...yet. They have data and images that can be used when a complete checklist and set is created. I believe here is an opportunity for an idea put forward by jasongerman9 in a thread a few weeks ago. Does anyone want to collaborate with me through Google Drive/Sheets to compile this checklist through internet sleuthing? I will start tonight trying to put this all together. Anyone who wishes to help shout out ME here and then PM me with your gmail or other style google email address and I will share the Google Sheet with you. My Google account is through the school I teach at so once I share it with you you may need to click a link asking for permissions.

Ryan - I actually have one started, but in Excel in my inbox. I always planned to tackle this but ran out of steam and resources so it went to the back burner. If you set it up, I'll throw in what I have to this point, though it's almost all what's listed here already, just organized in one checklist. I'll have to check and see what my Google email is tonight when I get home, since I only utilize it for Sheets on occasion 

Ok so I have started the search and created the Google Sheet using the cards available for purchase on comc. I am sharing it with Jason as soon as he PMs me his Google attached email address. Anybody else in on the hunt?

Seriously?  A one-card checklist for a set of 144 cards?

I can't help (let us know if you tackle 2007 too!) but out of curiosity, how were these distributed? Is it in fact one big set or a bunch of team releases which I've always somewhat assumed? Good luck on the noble endeavor!

I am making an educated guess, because I don't know for sure. But it appears to me that it was one big checklist, with each team distributing their portion how they saw fit (most, if not all, via stadium giveaways). I don't know how they determined who got what, because my research shows Tampa Bay having almost a 30-card representation while the Reds seems to only have 5-6. 

Can anyone help fill in more of the 2008 DAV sets?

Cards 1-5 (Brewers), 9-12 (Reds), 21-26 (Pirates), 67-85 (Padres), 114-144 (Cardinals) and 145-147 (Rangers) are in the database.
