You are set building from a monster box of cards.....as you sort you encounter 5-6+ cards of the same player. What card do you add to the set?
1. off centered
2. slightly rough corner[s]
And of course toss creases, etc. in the damaged box.

Off centered if the corners are good.

I'll use the off centered card.

I'm in the off-centered camp also. I've been using that as part of my criteria as I build my vintage sets.

I guess I'm casting the dissenting vote for the centered card with flawed corners.
Lack of centering is the main reason I stopped buying singles from the local hobby shop.

I saw the best cards of my generation destroyed by creases, soft cornered hysterical edge wear, dragging themselves through the hobby shops at dawn looking for a top loader...

Corners don't bother me too much. I always try to replace off center cards though when I can.

I'll take the off center to get the better corners.

Centered, lesser corners for me. Far more rare.

I have always preferred good corners to centering. There were some interesting points made for the opposite here though.
