Just asking, does anyone here or know of people who collect printing plates?
And, does anyone know how to price them?

I have been known to buy Topps New Orleans Saints for my PC. There are so many that they are low on my priority list. It mostly depends on the purchase price and the player.I have sold a few in the 20-30 range, but they were autos. If you are going to sell them on ebay, pick a asking price you are comfortable with. You will know if your asking too little because they should sell fast. You can always go down on your price if they don't sell.

Are you talking about the full sheet plates, or the ones that are cut up into the sections that printed the individual cards?

The community definitely needs more info about the plates you are referring to for providing any info about them. Printing plates go back over 2 decades. Some older ones command high value but recent ones can be owned for pretty cheap prices. Give us more specific info and we can do the same for you.

I have a printing plate from I think the 1962 Topps football set for Prentice Gautt. It has a scratch on it. I don't recall where I got it from. I know I've had it for about 20 years.

once again, i have to state the obvious. they are only as much as someone is willing to pay.
i've picked up a couple off ebay for under $20.
as 1/1 items go, rather a fun collectable. i'd love to get some more.

plates can vary on pricing based on the player and even that varies at times. I bought a few of the same player ranging from $15-50 and seen them go much much higher. if i list one for sale.. i just list .99c and let it ride- market and timing dictacts what someone will pay
