Is it me, or should anyone be disappointed that a blog on this site is pushing the below? Not talking about Littlefield or Ripken; talking Uribe, wrong backs, blank backs and those eBay sellers trying to scam a (few) bucks off people.

That really is a sad article. If they had shown the usual sarcasm associated with anyone looking at these cards for sale, then great. But the article is written as if these are really worth the asking price. Maybe they are the ones behind the money laundering.

That is a junk post with a hope someone clicks their eBay affiliate link. Take a look at their other posts; high-end eBay cards.
They don't care if someone gets scammed, they just want their cut.

I was going to suggest we all leave comments on the article about how much of a scam this is....but in order to leave a comment you need to input an email address and give a name. We could all use fakes of course.

Do the cards sell?? is anyone here seeing if they do??
Money laundering?? Who is robbing banks where they need to do that? Because they have bills that are hot, have been logged and are in number order? We are in 2020 and have electronic banking and bitcoin.

What is that behind you!?! Oh, It's me! Looking at the cards you have, That I want. :)

A lot of that is nonsense but the Sherry Mcgie error if I had the money I would take a shot at that one. Mostly known for the very first error card
the 1990 donruss green eye is a water spot this donruss set was notorious for water marks. I remember as a kid buying boxes and 90% of the cards had a water make mostly a yellow ring on the borders and on the backs
uribe this has been known for several years and there is no way I would pay that much on the card so it leads me to money laundering
I can go on on and on but I would steer clear of all of these especially if the seller has the Mcgie error for he could have replaced it with a fake. That is if the seller has all the other ones too. And if he doesn't and they person who wrote this article may be in trouble for taking someone's personal property and put it in their story

I don't believe it. I have always hated when sellers list a modern card for three figures or more. I've linked an Ebay search for the sold listings of the 1990 Fleer Jose Uribe card as you can see most are in the range of a buck or two to $20 maybe a little more. There is that awful outlier of $9,449 on 1 bid. Could very well be a shil bid. Of note is a lot of 13 that sold for only $20 + $3.95 shipping.
