How do I get access to process my own images. It is next on the list of permissions I need. When I click get access, nothing happens. The guidelines for processing appear. I read them all, but nothing gives me the access. What am I missing?

Admin grants that access. If the stuff you have been uploading needs any kind of alterations, that will drag out the time before Admin grants you that access. Even if you alter it from the queue, you still won't be granted access until you've done a ton of them. If your scans don't need to be altered at all and fit ALL of the guidelines for the site, you'd get access quick. It only took me a couple of months to get that access, but none of my scans have ever needed any adjustments after upload.

How would I know if mine needed any work. I feel like I've done a good job and what gets posted looks exactly like what I sent, so I can't imagine there is a lot of editing if at all. Maybe I just need to do more?

Maybe once you get to 100 cards scanned, you'll be granted that. I'm pretty sure packs/boxes don't count towards processing since Admin is the only one to approve those. I was able to accept my own images pretty quick after I got started here, but I have no idea how many cards I had scanned before I could accept them myself.

You've uploaded 53 cards (53 fronts, 53 backs) in the almost 4 years you've been a member. Unless you did them all yesterday, you've done nothing to allow Admin to take notice. An average of a little over 1 per month of membership does not stand out, and will not help you get self-approval access. You have to be consistently uploading many quality images. You haven't uploaded a card scan in over 4 months. Not trying to be rude, but giving it to you completely straight.

True, I haven't uploaded a lot of cards. I hope I didn't come off as if I was demanding access or thinking I deserved it, just wanted to know how to get it.
I've focused on packaging since I've had more success there. I've had a couple of instances where I scanned cards and before they got uploaded, someone else scanned them and approved their own scans, so I basically wasted my time. It kind of made me realize I might help out more if I focused on the packaging.
I'll try to get more cards scanned and hopefully get the access at some point. It's really not a problem, I just was wondering how to gain the access. Appreciate the info you guys were able to provide. Time to go dig out cards I can scan!

I appreciate this post. I haven't been here very long, but also wonder what it took to get the next permission. I love the way the long time members respond, they truly are helpful and want to help you succeed, and keep this a wonderful site.
My only concern is that I have started out tackeling some sets that are notorious for uneven cuts and off centered matching of the fronts and backs. Sets like early TCMA and Star Co. I hope the difficulty of scanning in these sets don't count against me. In some of the old TCMA sets, the cards aren't all cut to the same size and a few didnt have 90 degree corners.

Long-time collectors (as well as Admin) know that older cards weren't perfect in centering and sometimes even the cut of the cards. Adding your scans for TCMA and Star sets should be fine, even when the card isn't. A tip for you with off-center cards: If they have a border (as TCMA and Star Co. did), try to crop the card so that it looks centered. It will still appear as the regular size, BUT do not crop the entire border out of the card even if yours is missing the border on one side. If the whole border is missing all the way around the card, someone will tag it as "Needs Replacing". Then whoever replaces it gets the credit. With non-90-degree corners, try to angle the card when scanning so that it can be cropped down to look straight. If it is SO FAR off-angle that you can't crop it down without removing the border completely, don't bother b/c someone will replace it eventually.
If you have any questions about this reply, feel free to PM me and we can discuss further. Dan (vrooomed) can also be a great help to you, but I think he is a bit busier than I am most of the time. I am mostly active on here at night though.

I loaded the queue up with over 100 scans in one night, had permission shortly after they were all approved.
