After only about three years since I had this brilliant idea, I have finished my collection of the Last Topps Card of Any Hall of Fame Player Who Has a Topps Card. Picked up the last one, a 1953 Satchel Paige, last night. Graded SGC 50/4 because I didn't trust that I wouldn't get a reprint. It's the most I've ever spent on a stupid piece of cardboard. And I'm truly happy about it. I loved the idea of this sub-collection, and the fact that I was able to pull it off pretty quickly. (End of baseball card budget for the calendar year, I'm afraid....)
Thus, I have refreshed my list, and it's at the top of the lists here again. All modesty aside, it's fun to look through, so you might want to take a look. And then I will let it slowly fade away so you needn't be troubled with it again.
But I'll look at those cards every time I'm in my basement to play ping-pong or Wii or run on the treadmill. So, just about every day. I'm so happy!!!
Ok, I'm done now.
