Anybody use the Ultra Pro 9-Pocket Silver Series Pages? I typically use the Ultra Pro Platinum pages but the Silver Series is cheaper right now. Just wondering if they are similar quality and if there is any major difference with them.

Silver is cheaper as it is of slightly cheaper quality. I don't use them, but my understanding is that they are made of less sturdy stock.

Silver are a thinner material.

The Silver Series were terrible when I tried them. The pockets easily tear with very little force. Just to test them I was able to just pop each pocket open one by one by gently tugging on them. They also have that crinkly feel and finish to them. Spend the extra money on the platinum it is worth it.
Just to add regarding pages, I got some samples from BCW of their pro pages and while they felt okay, the pockets were too small. The middle row of cards on all the pages had the top of the card sticking out of the pocket. The top and bottom rows had barely enough to fit.
Interestingly enough,Hobby Lobby sells collectors pages that I used to buy sometimes that were actually very nice. Only drawback is that the seams were slightly raised so they didn't lay completely flat. Not a bad product though surprisingly.
So just do yourself a favor and get the Platinum pages. The cheaper alternatives are junk.

I have typically bought the Ultra Pro pages at Target, they aren't marked Platinum or Silver. I haven't had any durability problems, and the thinner material allows more to fit in a given binder, even if it is only one or two pages. Always seemed to me to be a case of 'good enough' is better than 'better'.

I've been going through and replacing badly worn or unclear pages from my childhood, (most of which were actually platinum) using silver for Commons and Platinum for almost everything else.
This first thing I noticed, aside from price, was that the platinum pages are much more rigid. The silver pages are kinda floppy, but based on the packages, I understand the material they are made from is the same. Both offer very nice clarity as well, so there's no sacrifice in that department either.
Overall, I am quite satisfied with the silver pages in the capacity which I use them.
