I must agree that this site should not track "custom" cards, a nice word for phony/counterfeit/copyright violation cards. But, I must admit some of these cards are quite alluring. For instance, I like Rusty Staub ... someone "created" a 1972 Topps card of him with the Mets and is selling it on EBay. I wouldn't buy it online, but I'd be tempted to look it over closely at a card show. As an alternative, wouldn't it be nice if Topps created a genuine 1972 retro card to fill this gap? How about a genuine retro card of Rico Carty in a Cubs uniform or Donn Clendenon in an Expos uniform or Tim McCarver in an Expos uniform or Matty Alou in an A's uniform?
BTW, in my Rusty search on EBay, there's this dreadful 1964 phony Topps rookie card with Staub and Jim Wynn w/ the Colts. At least the seller was upfront by saying it was created on a printing press in 2009 ... whew, somebody didn't know how to operate it ... that card is a piece of crap!
