Looks like Leaf is bringing back the Pro Set brand at least in Football, more details here. It would be nice if they were licensed and I hope they can expand to other sports as well.

Thanks for sharing. This set was the one that got me hooked on collecting. I'm more into baseball now than football, but seeing that Trevor Lawrence card just brought back a lot of memories of sorting, and resorting for hours as a kid.

Yup. Me too. I'm way more into baseball than football now, but my first and second and third major card purchases as a 8 - 9 year old were all Pro Set football. This is fantastic news!

I have way to much 91-92 Pro Set hockey I want to admit to ....
Since it's under the Leaf brand, will they be licensed? I know Leaf hockey isn't

I could probably buy the already complete sets cheaper somewhere else, but I like getting my maildays.

Big pass on anything new like that. "Official card of football fans everywhere" just a cash in.

Yeah, I'm sick of all the "in name only" brands.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I'm disappointed with the format but that's more on the exclusive licenses rather than the product itself. 1990-91 Pro Set is my favorite hockey set ever, and the only structurally perfect NHL set in my lifetime.
Leaf has done some really interesting stuff, I feel like if they could get licenses they could do some really amazing things. (I'm aware of the controversy surrounding the owner, but I feel a lot of that has been blown out of proportion and lots of piling on) I have little to no interest in cards with logos airbrushed off them though, regardless of how nice they may look.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.
