This didn't merit its own thread--you easily could have used the one you originally created, but I'll help anyway. This info is also available in the FAQs, which are really good resources that everyone should check out. As their name implies, they answer many of the questions that get asked most frequently.
Pretty much any changes that need to be made are requested via inaccuracy reports. Each set, insert/parallel set, and individual card has a link like this,
Use it on sets for missing cards, wrong numbers/names/notes/etc., and more, and on individual cards for similar errors. The queue for IRs is monitored by a number of volunteers who've put in the work to achieve permissions to make changes, and they also know when to escalate things to Admin--as in the single creator of this database, and the one who has permissions the rest of us don't. When IRs are created, the people working on them have access to a set of tools that make resolving them easier, often automating repetitive tasks as much as possible.
It's extremely important to remember a few things:
- The people who work on these IRs are volunteers. They do this to help the database out of the goodness of their hearts. Please be courteous and respectful and keep in mind that they have jobs and lives outside of the DB
- Nobody is here to do research for you, so if you think something's not quite right or is missing, it's up to you to explain how to correct it in your report
- That means you should be providing good information when you create an IR. "This card is wrong" isn't helpful. IRs that start with "I think..." aren't great either, and if that's how you're leading off your report, head to the forums first
- Want a checklist added? Please provide as much info as you can: card numbers, players, teams, notes (e.g. serial numbering)
- Want a single card added? Do we already have the checklist for that set and just your card is missing? If not, please find the whole checklist and provide it as single-card checklists for complete sets don't benefit anyone but you
I think that covers it but if that and the FAQs (which you should really check out!) don't handle any related questions you might have, please reach out.
