Hello All, been a while since I've posted as work has been crazy. I was going to post a weekend thread on Friday night but only now have finally got to doing some card stuff. I am finally getting around to opening my Topps On Demand shipments from as far back as May. I have to work tomorrow so not a long weekend for me but nice to finally get back to some cards.
Any one go to any card shows this weekned?
Pull any good cards from packs?
Go to any games?
Other fun stuff?
So far from my Topps Now, I got a #/49 Gio Urshella Now #213 and a #/49 DJ LeMahieu from the Opening Day team set.

Forgot to add, I listened to my first full Bowie album. Of course I had his greatest hits and several other singles not on it but never a full album.
And I just pulled a #25 AZ Diamondbacks Now #130 - the 1 hit allowed during doubleheader.

Ziggy, then Hunky Dory, Station to Station, Blackstar, Heroes.
I almost went to his 50th birthday celebration at MSG as it wasn't sold out but didn't have an easy way to get there.

Oh my, that's a lot! All great. If you're enjoying his work and want to try one from another era, I recommend Reality from 2003 (one of my favorites, great artwork, and seems a bit underrated) Also, if you like the style of Ziggy and are looking to explore more artists I recommend trying T.Rex's Electric Warrior.

Back to the original OP, I spent my weekend looking for dots or no dots on 1988 Donruss cards. Did also pull the cards for a large and a small trade.

I've also taken advantage of this long weekend to get some card stuff done. After about 6 months of non stop work and no time for trades/cards I've packaged up 3 trades and sent out on Saturday. Hopefully get back into the swing of doing some trades more often as work gets a little less busy until winter comes again.

I pretty famiiar with glam rock of the 70s. I just never really listedn to full albums as by the time I could start buying on my own, I went for CDs and more 60s rock than 70s. I always appreciaed Bowie for his artistic albilities and willingness to take chances.
T. Rex has been getting some more airplay on rock stations, and mentione from DJs recently. I'll take up your rec though and listent to the full album, thanks!

Awesome you could do some card stuff again! I've hardly done any purchases and even so couldn't believe how far behind I have been. I'm in the same boat in that I may be quite busy soon and want to take a few hours to enjoy my collection.

Is the Dot/no-Dot a newly discovered variation?
