Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Ebay...a scam used by shop owners to push their product past the price it is actually worth. Why trust Ebay to do anything helpful for the hobby.

So ebay is going to tell me my cards are worth what their "super sellers" are getting despite the fact that if I tried to sell them I would not get anywhere near that? What a useful feature!

I was in a shop and pulled a handful of 1981 Topps commons out of a box, and the owner actually looked each one up on ebay to determine prices. Then when I asked how much the 2021 Topps Series 2 blasters were, he looked that up on ebay, too. And it turned out to be from Walmart. Repulsive.

Sounds like the right place to enter 1990 Fleer Jose Uribe, 1989 Donruss Alex Madrid, and the 1989/1990 Donruss worthless variations that many idiotic ebay sellers claim are errors. The 1,000 cards should show my collection valued in the Billions.

No one can accurately tell you what your card is worth. Even if perfectly graded, the value can fluctuate daily. And there is the law of supply and demand
