There isn't one nearby. There is one that moved closer that I am going to investigate. I order cards from The Collector Store in Missouri. Free shipping over $100 and they had great holiday sales. Good service too. I get supplies on Amazon.
I miss the LCS' that were here until the early 1990s. One of them was demolished to build a huge office building and the other was in a mall that got torn down. It was fun to go in each week and get a few packs or buy supplies. I miss chatting with the owners about all things cards.

Can I put in a plug for the Card Shops directory here on TDCB?

None of the ones in Cooperstown are any good?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Only one I know of is what I'll call a "luxury" store. I haven't been in there in years. Just had new boxes, pricey vintage, and overpriced new singles focused on local teams. I once asked them if they had something like a "dollar box" and was basically laughed out the door.

I'm in Los Angeles. I got several shops nearby. I got Burbank Sportscards In Burbank. The Sports Source is also there. Games and Cards Superstore in Eagle Rock. Hall of Fame Baseball Cards in Monrovia. Cards and Coffee in Hollywood. Cardboard Legends in Van Nuys. Sports Card Zone in Lakewood. Yeah, I got several options. All within 15 miles give or take. Hall of Fame and Burbank Sportscards are the 2 I frequent the most. They treat me well every time. As do the boys in Eagle Rock. They always show love

I actually haven't been to any of them yet, I'll have to check them out. Next time I'm out that way I'll stop in a post a report here somewhere!

I consider myself pretty lucky I've got 2 up here in Anchorage, AK. Bosco's which is a full service nerdtopia, with comics, cards, and games and Don's Sportcards which is more of an old school 90's card shop, but great. I added both of them to the card shop section of the database.

Northridge Sports Collectibles in Northridge, CA, [on Reseda near CSUN.] Brian is a great guy.
Up until 2016 we also had Baseball Card Company in Granada Hills, at the north end of the San Fernando Valley for 30 years, but they closed. Steve & Mike were great guys.
