1990 topps football

I know this is common with some cards. I have a 800 count box of 1990 topps football that are bowed, is this common with this set. Are they worth listing for trade ------------------------------- Paul Trying to collect every card for the Philadeplphia Flyers. Lofty goal and a long way to go. The thrill of the hunt.

Yes, very common. ------------------------------- *Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.*

Yep! Also common with 1990 Bowman and also in baseball. They are worth listing FS/T as many people are trying to complete these sets.

Biwing affecting Bowman and Topps across all sports. 91 was the same. ------------------------------- Tired and trembling I am descending, will I have to stay here and live this life again?

Maybe this has been answered a bunch before but is there any practical way to flatten them out without damaging them? For example sticking them under one of those heavy dictionaries that we all used to have? (Got rid of mine.) Or do they just bow again after you lift the dictionary?

By the way, I just happened to buy a bunch of these so this caught my eye, I have this to look forward to when they arrive, I guess.

You CAN flatten them without damage, but how long they stay flat is still unknown. I have cards from both years and both sports that have been in pages in albums for a couple of decades or so and they still have the curve in them. I think the bowing is a mixture of how the sheets were printed then and the wax from the packs seeping into the cardboard. Bowing wasn't really a factor after wax packs were replaced by foil packs unless it was "Chromium" types of cards.
