I hope those of you who celebrated Christmas yesterday had as great a Christmas as I did! It was one of my better ones in a while- all I wanted was cards and my family took to this big time- they gave me 6 boxes, plus other loose cards! I showed my Mom how the Database now has a feature to show what sets are close to completion, and she went on and got me the cards I needed to complete 8 sets! One of the sets, she gave me boxes of both series 1 and 2 10 years ago to the day, for Christmas 2003. At least one of the sets she completed for me will complete the Gallery here on the Database as well. Then, to top it off, the family picture I posted to Facebook got over 100 "likes", the most I've ever gotten. The best part of the day was spending it with my family, however.
So, did anyone else on the Database get cards for Christmas?

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. Not I. :( My Fiance explained it well. "We don't know where you get your supplies and why would we get you more of what keeps you glued to the computer?" ...Sooo they got me Assassin's Creed instead! I'm not sure which is worse. Dedicating hours to TCDB or wasting hours on the Xbox. lol. (I white lie a little bit... I bought myself some cards before christmas. Should have wrapped them and given myself them too for fun... but I had to sort!) I did get a beer sampler, though... Which, being it isn't remotely card related, is almost as awesome as cards...

I didn't get any cards, but we have exchanged gifts yet, though I doubt I get any. I did buy a pack of cards last night and pulled a Clayton Kershaw jersey card, and then bought a couple scratcher tickets and won $44. So I plan to put that into buying some cards. Other than that I did have a good Christmas,

I'm in the same boat with Dixxy, the last thing my family is buying me is more cards haha. I got some some things to spruce up my house and my wardrobe, that was about it. My daughter just turned two, so this was the first year she really took part in gift opening. She made out like a bandit and that's all I really wanted for Christmas. I take care of my card needs the other 364 days of the year :-)

Five packages of
cards under the
tree for me. All
five eBay
purchases, made by
me, and wrapped by
me! Like
jackal726, I have
two youngsters
(ages 5 & 7) and
the highlight is
watching them open
their gifts! They
even opened mine!
I've still only
opened one of the
packages...I guess
I better get on
that, so if
deserved, I can
leave the seller
some positive
feedback! Happy
New Year to all!

Cards from my wife,
my 27 year old
daughter and 23
year old son. I
get cards every
Christmas and
birthday, it makes
me really easy to
buy for.
You will see me
uploading non-
sports from the
1930s in the months
to come, this was
part of my wife's
Christmas gifts.

I bought myself a box of random Baseball packs for under the tree and also a box of 2013 Allen & Ginter but since my Wife didn't wrap them fast enough I opened them early. When I was a kid, my Aunt used to buy a box of 200 random packs of either Football or Baseball from JC Penny's. I used to get these presents that felt like bricks and couldn't wait to open them. Some of my best cards came out of those boxes. I wish they still sold them that way.

I bought my son a
box of 2013 Topps
Opening Day for
Christmas, his
first box. My mom
also sent me a 1991
Topps Oakland A's
team pack she found
at a garage sale.
