I was just curious if anyone knew the release background on the Collector's Choice international releases from the 90s.  I have some of these cards in my collection, but they all either came loose in repack boxes or from trades.  Were these cards only release outside of the US?  Just wondering if these cards were only released in other countries and somehow made their way over the US.   Or were there some of these cards produced in the US and made their way out to the public somehow?

What specifically? I know big ones like basketball was released in Japan, and Sweden got a hockey release also.

I actually remember reading that blog post a couple years ago, but I think I was focused on what you wrote about the copyright lines.  I didn’t remember reading what you wrote about how they were released.  Thanks for posting that again.
