This one popped up in my eBay saved search email today. This guy is possibly nuts, maybe a scammer, or likely just delusional and completely uninformed about card values. He claims this is a $500 card but he'll let it go for $350. I sent him a message asking why he thought it was worth $500 because I genuinely want to know if there's something about this card that I don't know about.
He responds that it's an error and that the Collx app said it was worth $500 when he scanned it in. I asked what makes it an error and he just said something about the number and wouldn't really explain and then basically told me to go away because I obviously wasn't going to buy it.
Well, duh... your eBay listing is awful. The title screams fishy. The picture of the front of the card is horrible. If it is an error, you don't explain what it is, your description and item notes don't really match the card, and you act like I'm the jerk because I'm not just gonna pay several hundred dollars for something that doesn't have any reason to be priced that high.
I'm so sick of delusional flippers that don't even try to enjoy the hobby.

Adleast he gives very fair prices.
The "covid boom" has spawned a s-ton of folks asking ridiculous prices and the problem is many new and clueless in the hobby were likely taken to the cleaners.
Never been big fans of pulling the wool over an earthly co-habitants eyes.
