That's a great one, and rare for that era.
There seems to be a lot more 'cameo' cards beginning in the early 1990s, probably because the camera technology got so much better that they captured many more actions shots like slides into second base and running over the catcher. Plus, 1989 Upper Deck forced the other companies to up their photography game.
Unfortunately, with the rule changes to protect players, the images of leaping shortstops and grimacing catchers as they absorb the hit from a 200 lb man running at full speed, are likely a thing of the past.
