Young Kilo,
Thanks for the info on Burbank. In my dealing with them, I found I love their selection, but dislike their use of "stock photos" for auctions (especially on the older stuff). They list 5 of the same card, then price them all differently. I'd like to see what the flaws are. I've seen cases where a dealer has a card with a barely dinged corner up for $2, but the 90/10 OC with sharp corners is $5. For my older Phillies stuff, the $2 card is actually more suitable as in a binder full of cards, a small corner problem is a lot less noticable than a card being majorly OC (and not JUST because of price, if the charges were reversed, I'd still be going with the non-OC card, although I'd probably just hold off on that purchase and wait for a better deal on a better card). As for buying newer stuff where the condition is generally NM/MT, I'm not worried, and the one recent dealing I had with them was a good experience. (I think I dealt with them several years agao, as well, but my memory isn't THAT good, nor is it important enough to go searching through 83 pages of my feedback!)
I do appreciate the info on them. I'll probably make a Beckett Marketplace purchase from them in the near future as they seem to have about 15 to 20 of the cards we're still looking for (Darren Daulton).
Thanks again,
Dan
