Chuck and Ed may be right about it being a site issue, though you may want to try to contact Admin just in case. Before you do that, though, maybe try clearing your cookies and cache for the site? That tends to fix a decent number of issues.
I hope whatever's preventing you from uploading gets resolved quickly either way.

I just sent Admin a message via the "Contact Us" link so he'll be aware of this (he doesn't read the forums) and hopefully he'll fix whatever temporarily broke soon.

They aren't cell phone pictures. I use a scanner. Send to my email. Upload to my phone. Download to site. Been doing it for 6 years in jpeg form. Thank you though.

I too saw Monday that I had a member that deleted my scans to put up his own. I am sure that my scans were fine. I reached out to him to ask if there was an issue with my images. 2 days later and I have not heard anything back. I believe he just wants his scans up for those SPs.
My only 2 issues are:
1) When another member sees that my scans were deleted and redid, do they think that my scans were poor and, I do not take the time to do them right?
2) Did I lose any points when mine were deleted? I don't think so, but I'm not sure. The points, to me, show other members that you are trying to help in any way you can.
Scans, for me, are what I have discovered to be the best way I can help the site. I have dabbled in other things, but the scans are something I spend a lot of time doing.

ToppsrBest, I can't quote your post due to site issues but this is intended to try to answer your second question:
I believe you only lose points if your images are removed via IRs (which are generally warranted because images are photos, incomplete, altered, etc., and not just without reason). If someone uploads images over yours, which "updates" them, you shouldn't lose your points for those images. So if your name is still showing under each image followed by "Updated by [member name]" then you're considered the original uploader and keep your points.

Thanks FreehanSolo. That is what I thought. I don't think my scans warrant a do over, or I would have heard by now. Most or all of my 7,312 points are from scans. The updated scans may be a touch better than mine, I don't know. Not a big concern for me.

So general question then- I've seen several images on more obscure (less than 5 people total in the own / want / trade) that I wanted to update but did not because I worried it would insult another member- never the same person; I don't think, but it sounds like I can update those without hurting the other person when I upload the image. Is there a different item to click on when replacing by or does it differentiate solely based on the presence of an IR? This is an instance where the phone can be a slight hindrance as I miss some features/buttons... but I can usually figure it out if I know what to look for or the rule in place. Thanks! Becks

Members with Permission Level 7 and above can replace any card image on the site, without an IR to get it tagged for replacement. (Level 6 and below require an IR to replace others' images, Not sure if there is a minimum level for being able to replace your own images.
RE points for image uploads: If a member replaces an image without it being tagged, the member does not receive points. If the image is tagged, the member receives points. I do not think the member who uploaded the original, no matter how poor, has a point reduction. Only if the images get removed outright. Re-cropping an already-posted image will show an "updated by..." with your ID. Adding a new image will show the same thing. There is no harm (to your points) in having your image(s) updated.

Good Info. I have had images replaced, when in no doubt mine were fine. I don't care if a member wants his image in place. I messaged him, and from no reply, I would think mine were fine and he just wanted his up. I see pre 80s images I could replace, I haven't out of "respect", and I wonder could I spend my time elsewhere. All good! My concern was, am I adding images that need replacing?
