I would be willing to send all of my extra 1988 Score cards if anyone would like them. All I ask is that you just pay for some of the postage.
No need to trade, I would just like to pass along cards to someone who might need them.
Send me an email if your interested, otherwise they are going to Goodwill
Thanks
Chris

I like the idea of Goodwill. It may give younger children a chance to acquire some cards they can enjoy and any money raised goes to charities in your area supported by Goodwill.

I dumped a complete factory set with the magic motion inserts cards in a stadium parking lot a few years ago, thinking some kids might find some of them and start collecting. Shipping would cost more than this set is worth. It may be better served as a firestarter log for lighting charcoal.

I am starting to think that as well.
How far back would you go? I am going to dump from 91 and 90 cards from all of the manufactures.
No point in keeping them if nobody will take them. Right?

A few years back, I unloaded a lot of doubles from 1989-90-91. Simple matter of I needed more space. If everyone keeps doing this, pretty soon that 1990 Donruss #403, Cecilio Guante, card will quadruple in value, up to four cents.

NJDevil, that is very true. But the way I look at it their has to be some guys out there that are willing to take them. All of us old times (in our 40's) can't hoard them forever.

Oh I wish was in my 40s....or 50s.....or even a couple years younger. I offered them for free to two buddies who are dealers, they politely declined. Eventually had a yard sale and gave them away to anyone who wanted them, mainly kids.

I would be interested in any STL Cardinals cards I don't have yet. A quick glance shows me that there are 10 from the base set that I still need. There are other players I collect that didn't play for STL that I might need too. Is this just about the base cards? There are many of the inserts and Traded cards that I need too. PM me and we'll work something out.
I guess I can't count myself as an old-timer by your reasoning (at least not yet)! I have been collecting for over 30 years, but I'm still a couple years away from 40 years old. LMK if I can take some cards off your hands that I still need!

Topps baseball would be a different story. 3 complete sets will fit nicely into a priority box for about $12.00. I might pay shipping for that.
