I saw some unopened boxes in Canada. I don't see boxes or cards to often but here in the north. Or must you order them only by mail?

The boxes you saw, were they older baseball from the 80's? I remember Leaf used to print Donruss cards in Canada, much like the Topps and O~Pee~Chee deal, with the English / French on the backs of the cards. That lasted until about 1990, then Leaf started releasing their own sets, no longer identical to the Donruss stuff.

It was the new leaf. I think they are located in Texas now?? So was just wondering if the new leaf was more popular in the south as I don't see it too often round here.

Honestly, I don't think Leaf is all that popular anywhere.

Obviously, hockey is king for collecting in Canada, and I get the sense there isn't great enthusiasm for their unlicensed stuff up here. Never really see much of it all at shows.

I saw primary Hockey and Soccer there and "other cards" on the show floor.
My kid went all decked out in NFL and MLB apparel so I think they knew we wasn't from there.
It was hard finding MLB, NBA and NFL cards in Canada.
I would love to see some pickleball and bowling cards from leaf.

Leaf has always been a brand I have avoided for my PC (or any NBA cards for that matter).
I did have a conversation the other day with someone who paid a reasonable amount for a Leaf Michael Jordan (and others) jersey card. Their logic was they didn't particularly like Leaf but saw them as a good option for cheaper cards of some of those more expensive players.
I'm still not convinced. The whole no player images doesn't do much for me along with almost every card being some absurdly low SN.

As far as I know they are not bigger, they are the same size. We just use different standard of measurement, lol.
