I haven't sent any cards through the mail for autographs in several years. Yet, today I was shocked to get a return from Andre Savard. I sent him 5 cards in March of 2012, and today got back 2 of them signed - 4282 days! That's almost 12 years!
What's the longest time it took for you to get anything returned?

What was the postmark date on the envelope? Check other TTM sites and see if others have received returns from him around the same time. Perhaps he's finally getting around to mail...
It took 2002 days for me to have an Orioles post card sent back from Rick Dempsey (which was signed).

That's awesome! My longest return is Steve Decker that I recently got back at 928 days.

The stamps on the return envelope weren't cancelled, so there is no date on when it was sent from him. My previous records were Gary Roberts at 2205 days and Mike Bossy at 2100 days. The reason I quit sending out requests was because so many weren't coming back. I guess you can never say never.

Wow! 12 years is impressive. I just got one back for my Super Bowl collection the other day from former Redskin A.J. Johnson that I sent out in 2019, but the longest I've waited for a success was a little over 5 years (Joe Garten).

I only started requesting autographs TTM just this year. My longest wait (for a card that I got back) so far has been 125 days (so a little bit over 4 months). There are cards that I've been waiting on longer and I'm not sure when it's appropriate to call it a loss, but based on the responses here, I guess I shouldn't give up on them ever.

Wow! That's got me beat. My only regret about this return was that he only signed 2 out of 5 cards, and neither one were the Bruins cards I sent him.

Apparently you need to wait at least 13 more years before giving up hope!
