Currently I hold all of my cards in boxes with labels with all cards being in sleeves. I have been thinking about getting a large binder to store my cards but they won't be able to be in sleeves. Should I go through with the "transfer" and would it even be safe to do so?

I keep my PC in binders. I put all those cards in Ultra Pro sleeves and then into Ultra Pro Platinum pages and they fit without issue.

I too have all of my cards in binders and top loaders. For trading purposes i have books marked for example
1980-1999 in binder one in year and by brand. Donruss, Fleer, pacific, topps, upper deck. And if i have more than 5 pages they are also in alphabetical order by last name. Just makes it so much easier locating the cards for trade

I do exactly this, as well. I also want to plug a brand of binders that I recently discovered on Amazon called Bellagio Italia. They are pricey, but they have a very large capacity and are attractive when displayed.

Use the premium sleeves from UltraPro, they cost a bit more but are a little smaller so they fit into the pages better.

I guess another potential consideration with binders is cost if/when your collection grows.
Sleeves plus pages plus binders is a lot more expensive than sleeves and boxes.
That extra page and binder money could be going on more cards...

for me personally I like the visual nature of a binder. I like to be able to sit and look through my collection without having to dig through a box. I know there is an added cost associated with pages and binders, but to be able to put my collection on display is enough for me to justify the extra cost.

You can fit sleeves in pocket pages. AS for binders, I had everything in binders but then ran out of shelves so I had to put the excess in Monster boxes. Now I'm going through binders and moving a lot to FST to make room for more binders!!!
I'll also add that ordering direct from Ultra Pro works great. The only difference between direct and Amazon is that Amazon is usually faster.

I use binders for sets I am currently working on and store everything else in boxes. I find binders make it easier to fill the sets and see what I am missing from a set.
