Someone probably edited Wikipedia using the list from TCDB (which might not always be sports-related, but mostly)

Yes, I did after a quick cut & paste from Wikipedia, took out 3 or 4 non-sport related persons and only went back a few leap years before posting it. The rarest of days (Feb. 29th), seems to churn out world class athletes. Which stars of tomorrow will be born this time 'round?

I know that you have missed at least one sports related personality born on February 29. The one that I'm referencing is the player with the most Stanley Cups in NHL history and the player is Montreal Canadiens Captain and Hockey Hall of Famer, Henri Richard

You are correct sir! I only went back to 1984 otherwise the list would have been huge. Also former NFLer Bryce Paup and a few more.
I guess my point was -> For a day that occurs only once every 4-years, you get more bang for your buck in the sporting world.

So anyways, Super Bowl VIII quarterbacks Fran Tarkenton and Bob Griese have the same birthday February 3rd.

Might want to check the birthdates for Stan Musial and Ken Griffey, Jr. It's November 21, not April 10.
