I didn't respond when I first read this, but I will say, it's never fun to get a note from a trader stating that something didn't go right. When I read the response from your trade partner, my first thought was, what's the problem? More clarity was needed there. I've made similar mistakes before myself, missed a card, realized that a card was not mint after accepting a trade, but I always communicate with my traders in this regard. For example, just recently I had a trader reach out to me and advise that I was sending out gold foil cards instead of base cards. To be honest I had no idea these even existed...it was an oversight on my part. I researched the parallel sets to the base set and educated myself before responding. I simply offered to make it right, but in the end the trader was cool with it but wanted me to know so my physical inventory aligned with my TCDB inventory. On the flip side, because he let me know, I went through...pulled all the gold foil cards and updated my inventory...this made another traders day because he had been looking for one of those cards for a long while.

Thank you all for your responses. I try not to take things personal but the way this one was phrased bothers me. I have dealt with the missing cards and am return their half of the trade when it arrives on top of that but will personally not be trading with them in the future. Few things set me off and as most people I have traded with will know I don't get upset about much but implying that I was being dishonest in any way is one that sets me off. As I said if he had phrased it differently it would have been fine. But I certainly hope it was an honest mistake just got under my skin. Anyway again thanks for your time and happy trades.
