I'm sure some know of it already, but there is a book out there that was a very limited release called the Non Sport Bible. Nearly 1000 pages and said to be the most comprehensive and complete non sports card guide in existence. It pops up on eBay sometimes for 500+ dollars (and sells). There's no digital copies out there and I've scoured the net. I'm wondering, do any of you have it? Have you seen it? I'm intrigued and would love to get a copy but not for that money. I've even emailed the guy who published it to no avail.

If you can find one at $500 you should grab it.
One just sold last month at auction at Vintage Non Sports forum for $630-ish plus shipping.
It was above my budget limit. I may need to reassess.

Kari I am buying pre-1987 Non Sports. Let's discuss if you have any for sale, even if not listed here. --------------------------------------- There are no bad days.

I have heard about it and seen images of the cover on the internet over the years. I would love to obtain a copy of it but not for 3 digits. Preferably only 2 digits and under $50. I'm more likely to find a 1990 Topps Baseball Frank Thomas No Name error card, a real 1986-87 Fleer Basketball Michael Jordon RC and a 1976 Topps Football Walter Payton RC. All 3 together in a PIF PWE.

The book is mentioned in this post about different guides from 2008 - https://thewrapper.tripod.com/priceguides.html
Here is how it is described -
The latest and biggest price guide would be Chris Watson's Non-Sports Bible. Measuring a mammoth 8.5" x 11.25" and is 2.25" thick! The black hardbound book certainly resembles a Bible and has 968 pages chronicling over 2,500 US sets from 1920 through 1985. My scales say this weighs 115 ounces. That's over 7 pounds! Although I won't be hauling this to any card shows, I certainly enjoy reading it at home. It benefited from the input of many collectors from the Network 54 vintage card forum. Watson managed to finish it despite a busy medical job and long, unplanned delays. There are a few blank images for samples yet to be found, but if there is ever another edition, we can expect those to be filled. This is the most expensive of guides though, retailing for over $100. Only 500 numbered copies were made.
