If any of you check Twitter often (excuse me, "X"), you might've come across a post from the Toronto Blue Jays' Hagen Danner. The photo on his card in the 2024 Topps Heritage set isn't him. Not the first time that's happened, of course.
But, he says he told Topps beforehand that wasn't him: "Definitely not even close to being me. What do we got @Topps?? Told you guys it wasn’t me and still released" He added that he knew about the photo mistake because they asked him to sign those cards. He said he answer, "No." One of his former teammates, Bradin Hagens, posted that the photo is of him when Hagens was in Mobile in 2013 or 2014.
If Danner says it wasn't him, couldn't they make a change? And, if it's too late to make a change, why bother asking him if it's the correct photo?
