I'm not an NHL fan and if it wasn't for the forums here, I wouldn't know anything about the Golden Knights. Even my local news doesn't cover hockey except for the Carolina Hurricanes. I don't know their record, but I know they mostly continue to lose. I did hear that the sale was finally agreed to and some Texan bought the team. The team still has to stay in Raleigh for some time, but I'm guessing they will eventually move away. Funny how the team was brought here and eventually became a winner, but only for about 2 years. They've been crap since then! They are pretty much the same as the NBA team. The NEW Charlotte Hornets (former Charlotte Bobcats) are good one year and then crap for a couple before they have another good season and then are crap again.
At least the Carolina Panthers rarely have long streaks of crappy teams! They seem to stick with being good one year and bad or mediocre the next, then back to good again. They were the 1st NFC South team to win the division twice in a row and did it for a 3rd year when they lost the SB to Denver. BUT, the middle division title was when they sucked and won the division with a 7-8-1 record. The Panthers can actually win the division again this year (4th in 5 years) IF they win out and the Saints lose to the Falcons again. Saints play Falcons in Week 16 and Panthers play Falcons in Week 17. It's looking like a 10-6 NFC team could miss the playoffs while an 8-8 AFC team could make the playoffs!
