I hope I wasn't coming across pushy or offensive. I was just giving my honest opinion on the topic presented. I didn't know there were right and wrong answers. We have new members seeing these posts all the time.
I agree that there's no feeling of awe at holding a reprint, but you also can't hold pixels either. I'm not trying to convince you or anyone else to change their minds. I'm just expressing my view of the value for holding a reprint set because there could be a new member reading these posts that might be open to different point of view.
Some people put their cards in numerical order in a binder and call it a day. That seems shallow to me. No offense intended for those who do. Reprints aren't as untouchable as originals and can be arranged and re-arranged in various types of order, over and over again. I guess someone can print off a set online to the standard card size and cut out the complete set and do it that way, but I don't think I have the ink or material to do all that. For me, it's easier to buy a reprint set manufactured to specification and "play" with those cards. That's just me. I'm not pushing this on anyone. I'm simply expressing a different point of view. What's wrong with that? Is Billy going to come around and remind us all of the definition of trolling again?

And you should know how I feel about reprint sets. Not interested. No history. No feeling of awe at holding a 100 year old thing in your hand. If I wanted that, I could go to my color printer for a few minutes and have the whole set virtually for free. Pass.
This website is for "getting familiar with" sets.

You know how I feel about the reprint sets. I'd grab one of those to help you get to know the set better, while guiding you towards your next original card purchase. The set could probably be obtained for the price of 1-2 low-grade originals.
