I think 1BC should be reserved for Julius Caesars rookie card.

I'm mostly organizing over adding right now.

I'm not the expert on these, but I would assume we would not add the FBC onto the 1997 one and would mark it an UER. I believe that this is how it is done when the RC is incorrectly listed.

FBC is part of the design of the card, so it should be noted as such. Whether or not Topps decided to use this on cards was completely up to them. No UERs for our thoughts of them "misusing" it.
If the card has the logo, it gets the Note "FBC". Only if there is an actual "fact" error on the card would it get UER, not because of FBC logo misuse. (I do believe there are some 1970s cards that should have been All-Stars (and a couple that shouldn't have been?), but we're not documenting the events of the season, simnply the elements on the cards.

Roger that! I went to start on 1998 and noticed the stamp says "Bowman Rookie Card" that year instead of "1st Bowman" should I just use the normalized FBC abbreviation or a new BRC or in the case of 98 just leave it be?

Thanks for doing those, gnarlycore. I'll be chipping in on these as well but I want to make sure we're doing them in an organized fashion.
Is anyone else working on these? And would anyone who wants them done but doesn't have the time to update each card be willing to put in IRs for each set that needs to be done?

No problem, it's easy enough for me to knock out a set or two in the morning. I did 96, 97, and 2019 today.

I'm actually surprised that the 1st Bowman Card issue has never been brought up before. I'm glad the designation is being added to the note field because this promotes consistency of the site's rules/standards.

I found this old thread while trying to find out why the 2020 Bowman Draft set does not have FBC designations added in the Note1 field. Presuambly because no one has gotten around to adding them? If that is the case I can volunteer to undertake that effort. If there is another reason I will stand down.
