Scanning foil

Has anyone figured out a good way to scan foil without winding up with these scan lines? I've adjusted my scanner a hundred different ways. I don't like how this looks, but do we more or less accept it around here? ------------------------------- Cards come from a smoke/pet/Subway-bread/patchouli free home.

Scanning foil is a big huge PITA.

One technique to try is to rotate the card 90 degrees and scan that way, sometimes that helps. Also check out Billy's link on scanning cards to make them look like they do in hand: http://cardboardhistory.blogspot.com/p/how-to-make-your-scans-look-like-cards.html

If your scanner has a DESCREEN filter setting it should remove the moiré. ------------------------------- *Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.*
