Thank you for being willing to learn! The Panini checklists have been a regular issue and sometimes it's done by users who should know better. Glad you are willing to help make it right

First I applaud the one qho made the error for owning their mistake and being willing to fox it...
Second, I personally love a lot of Panini products but HATE HATE HATE their published checklists!!! Their website is notorious for inacurate and incorrect checklists!!! And they don't seem to care anout fixing them. They release them ahead of time as an advertisement to the set, but change their numbering system and sometimes what cards are actually in the sets/printed by release date and never go back amd fix their lists. Alot of other sites just copy their checklists, so you can find many published versions of the wrong checklist. The only way to have a truly accurate Panini checklist is to have all the cards and write it yourself.

I'm not a hoarder, it's a "collection".... Joseph

Unfortunately images were already uploaded, so I don't think we can blow these away anymore.

I'd like to know where this rule is posted.

I don't know if it's a rule posted anywhere but in the tools available to the resolvers with sufficient permissions, sets can't just be removed if they have images (and in some cases ratings, collection data like appearances on members' collections/wantlists, etc.). My guess is that this was done intentionally so we don't potentially throw out good images or cause members to lose collection data due to something generally out of their hands.
In these cases it may make more sense to just update the numbering on the checklists as we can find it, though I'll defer to someone more experienced like Ed to chime in about whether or not that makes the most sense.

Correct. Not a rule, but an actual thing we literally cannot do. There's no way to remove a checklist that has images uploaded.
A checklist with collection info beyond just wants cannot be deleted without Admin having final approval either.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Thank you to everyone that puts in the effort here adding checklists and working through the issues that pop up along the way. I've added a few in my time and now I mostly just leave it up to the experts - it's not easy and I don't want to make it worse. 😂
It's appreciated.
