I think there should be a block button so you don't have to deal with people who are never active and/or screw you over countless of times i keep running into who are never on and matching up with Davisbooksandhobby fka jddavis84 am i the only one who wishes there was a block button ???

I'd be fine with the filters from the member directory being available when matching cards. Or just the 'on in the last 30 days' one, because it's the only one I use.

I saw the best cards of my generation destroyed by creases, soft cornered hysterical edge wear, dragging themselves through the hobby shops at dawn looking for a top loader...

When I joined a couple of years ago. I send a lot of offers and messages to member and got no replies. I find out they are not active. At that time I send a message to ADIM asking if he could have the members names coded by color Colors would be by when they last logged in. My IT guy said it could be done but with out knowing how the database is set up. It could be very easy or hard. I got the reply from ADIM that I can use the log in date on their profile page.
Say Green if you logged in in the last 45 days
yellow 45 to 150 days
Orange 150 to 285 days
Red over 285 days

NO There is no colors. I ask ADIM to do colors matching when you have last logged in. He do not do it.

I agree, it's a PITA when you find all these matches only to realize that the member hasn't been on the site in 2 years. What's worse though, is the members I send a trade proposal to that NEVER reply...anything. No accept, no counter-offer, no stick it up your...nose, nothing. I check their profile to see if they've been on since I proposed the trade; yep sure have. I don't want to get on a rant here, but, what the hell, if you don't like the offer, just turn it down. I can handle rejection, go ahead. But to not reply at all, with no explanation whatsoever, is just BS. If you don't like trading, go into your profile and put "NO" where it asks if other members can send you trade proposals. If you just don't like me....well, I'm not going anywhere, for a little while anyway....so get over it.

It is a pain when searching for people to trade with. You find people with a card you want. Then you have to go down the list and check their page first, to see when was the last time they were on. My rule is, over 7 days and I will not bother. I sometimes send a message to see if there is any life at the other end but most times there is no reply and I don't wait for a reply, I keep working the list.
I like the idea of settings Like, a week - 2-weeks - a month - 6-months - a year.
or
There could be a place for users to type a number for days. Max being 365. this might be easier.
But this should only affect when searching on the who has cards up for trade lists. I see no need to block them out completely. But I can see some may want that so a 2ed options could be placed in the menu to block all from them. If someone wanted it and add a place to place a name to completely block a user, could also be another option.
There are mutable reasons to block someone and they will all have to be addressed in some way for it to work well for everyone.

What is that behind you!?! Oh, It's me! Looking at the cards you have, That I want. :)
